I am a NBCT in EAYA English as a New Language. I joined to webinar to learn how to better support teachers in M-DCPS who may be interested in pursuing National Board Certification and to support my great colleague Milly!

I would like to pursue my National Board because teaching is my first love and I wanted to enhance my knowledge in teaching. I a preschool and a special education teacher. I would like to push myself to a better teacher.

yep, that means the certification more than pays for itself in one year after certification.

I LOVE the vision board idea.

I often feel isolated and limited in the state I teach, and am planning on moving in 2 years. I want a more expansive PD that focuses on National standards and professional outcomes. I am constantly looking inward and outward to improve my practice, but I want the accountability of high quality national standards.
