I plan to invite school board members to my school and class. I attend school board meetings virtually since I was unable to drive and live in a very rural area on the Navajo Nation. I was dismayed to hear that when my school invited members to our school promotion, our local member stated she did not know where our middle school was…that seriously need to change. This past year, my administration did not offer a single opportunity for parents to attend a meeting to develop a collaborative effort to address students’ needs. That also needs to change.
