Texts Sets: Using text sets to create more culturally relevant instruction

This webinar is hosted in partnership with NBPTS Core Connections, National Board NAME (Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators), and Student Achievement Partners. Creating spaces for students to develop the knowledge and skills to fuel their dreams goes beyond having standards-aligned materials. Text sets, or intentionally grouped sets of texts and media resources focused on a topic, are a great way to engage students, address complex topics, perspectives and/or events, and support students' reading skills. At SAP we’ve been working with educators to learn and share ways to use these resources to build critical consciousness and humanize literacy instruction.
