This session will share low-prep/high yield strategies for getting readers to write and writers to read. The Land of Reading and the Land of Writing meet on the Bridge of Language and Conventions...reading and writing are NOT separated. When we teach students to read, we want them to ask themselves "how does the author want me to read this?" and when we teach students to write, we want them to ask themselves "how can I write this so the reader reads it the way I mean it?"
