Returning to School: Accelerating Learning in Math
How do we move beyond the impact of COVID-19 and the disruption to traditional schooling students have experienced? This webinar, presented in conjunction with the National Board Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators, will focus on how to accelerate learning from an asset-based perspective and in an equitable way as we consider how to find balance between untaught mathematics and disruption of learning from this past year.

In this session teachers will explore:
• The difference between remediation and accelerating learning • A “Math Experiential” that models how just-in time supports can be embedded in lessons
• Guidance for making practical and strategic decisions on how to accelerate student learning in math
